Swiss Army MiniChamp
I bought this as a replacement that I had for over 20 years. I love that it is a mini. Fits into my makeup bag.

My defender
This is the all round great pocket mini knife that I have owned I have carried one for the last 12 years as a joke one day we, I am an electrician we were stripping some wire to in order to pull through the pipe. We needed a knife so I pulled out my mini champ, my helper said to me we needed a bigger knife I told him that this was the defender of the universe. We both laughed and the name stuck. I have at other times where someone has laughed at the size of it but the performance of the product speaks for itself.I have two or three that are damaged through my abuse I need them fixed. I don't leave home without it.I have even given the away for Christmas.

10 years and still in one piece. Amazing.
My wife bought me this knife for Christmas back in 1999. We were traveling in India and she found it there at a small street side knife shop. I've had this thing 10 years. Miraculously it has never been lost, confiscated at the airport, or damaged by the countless times we've dropped it. This knife has traveled with me through India, Thailand, Hong Kong, Nepal, Bangladesh, and countless US states. I've needed to buy 2 of the placement ink pen inserts throughout the years. Luckily, I could always find them - even in Asia!

I'm only leaving this review 'cause I was on Amazon buying the pen insert and wanted to see if they were still making this knife. They are! Highly recommended. Very durable. Never had a problem.

mini champ II
I love Swiss army knives for all their functionality, but got tired of carrying a full size one in my pocket, they are too bulky. I bought a classic SD and loved it, but it didn't have enough tools for me, I wanted the mini champ because it has a phillips screwdriver, and a ball point pen, not to mention all the other handy items.
For me this one is perfect! Size- 2" long, and just under 1/2" wide, fits very comfortably in my pocket, and I barely notice it. BTW, Amazon price is 1/2 of retail, I checked!

The minichamp is a maxi hit.
Like most swiss army knives it is well made and very versatile. Every blade a normal person could possibly want and some you probably don't. All on a frame that fits easily on a key chain. The scissors are particularly useful. It is a great little knife to have around and it won't scare everyone in the office when you pull it out to open a package. Blades are sharp and the finish is typical Victorinox high quality.
