i've had this knife for 4 years now, use it everyday, its a great knife, takes an edge well, doesn't dull to fast, good metal. My spring did break for the assisted opening but not really a downer cuz it does have a life time warrenty and i'm just to lazy and don't care enough to get it fixed. But yeah overall amazing knife great for everyone!!

This is my 2nd Kershaw assisted opener. The first is lost on the Apache reservation some where. The previous model I had was the fake (I think) carbon fiber handled Leek and was not as wide as this one.
I actually like this model better. It is light, but feels solid. The blade springs out with moderate pressure. It snaps too with a sure feel and has never unlocked on me. The blade stays pretty sharp, regardless of what abuse I put it through. So far I've had to sharpen it twice, although I'm not a stickler for things being razor sharp, and I do cut open packing boxes and plastic tie raps.. not what the knife was intended for but seems to handle it OK.
The coating on the blade also seems pretty resilient, although cutting up fish has left a greasy mark that has been stubborn to clean off.
I'd recommend this as an all day every day knife, which is what mine has become. My Sog twitch XL has been retired by this purchase.
Good choice
My husband loves this knife. This is his 2nd one - He losted his 1st one & had been saying that he really wished he still had it. He doesn't let this new one out of his sight! Can't go wrong with buying this one.
two months still havent got it
its the 1st of may still havent got it ordered it march 1st USPS tracking nimber says missent scence march 7th NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!

I have several Kershaw pocket knives. They are all well made, easy opening and sturdy.
