Customer Response

Fine for home use
I don't claim to know much about knives. I just wanted a sweet looking knife that I could use around the house for all my slicing purposes. It's very sharp and works well.

Hard to open one-handed
This is a decent knife. It's sharp and light. My only real complaint is that it's hard to open with one hand, which means you can't open it quickly. The problem is that the thumb-stud isn't in the best position (too close to the pivot/hinge). It might also be due to the fact that it hasn't been used very much yet, but mainly the problem is the thumb-stud.

Just an OK knife for light work...
This a just a so/so pocket knife for light work such as slicing open envelopes and cutting string, etc. The good points are: It's a Schrade knife so it does have some credibility, Small size that fits easily in your pocket, nice black finish on it, handle is comfortable but a little too slippery, and if you look around you can buy this knife for under ten bucks. I picked this up at Big6 the other day for $5.99 and this knife sells online for not a lot more. Bad points: Blade is a little unstable when open, small three inch blade, not tough enough to carry into the woods or to use as an everyday tool. If you looking for a pretty tame carry you might like it. If you are a serious knife person than I would pass on it.

Nice
This is a very nice knife for the money. It is a little smaller than I was expecting, but it's ok. It's a good utility knife for my job. I have to occasionally cut shrink wrap and banding off pallets as part of my job, so it does that perfectly well. I'm not a hunter so I cannot say this would be a good knife for anything related to that, but it would also work well for fishing.
